“We were first commissioned to work on the layout for Italia 90’s debut on Brace Yourself Records, receiving licensed photographs of Megan Ross’ wonderful paintings and tasked with tying imagery and typography together with the pre-chosen imagery. We were responsible for all external and internal design work, creating packages for Vinyl and CD. Taking inspiration from exhibitive scenarios in the paintings, we chose to match typography taken from pamphlets from The Great Exhibition of 1851, also taking small elements of the paintings for graphic textures in the package - such as the internal insert and stickers. We have since continued to work with the band for numerous merchandise items and tour posters”
